From Kyoto, we travelled out a little out to catch the 4hours J-bus/Hankyu Highway Bus to Kanazawa. We were a little lost from finding the highway bus stop, but it's up a flight of stairs through some park, literally on the side of the highway.
Upon dropping off our luggage at our airbnb, we took the Kanazawa Loop Bus and visited the tourist spots!
Explored the Kanazawa Castle / Kenrokuen Garden / Oyama Shrine / Nomura Clan Samurai Home and Higashi Chaya District
After all the walking, we were starving. We literally followed the smell of some BBQ and found this cute little BBQ restaurant filled with locals. They didn't have an english menu nor do the staffs speak English, so we had to rely on poor google image translate and just randomly ordered some meat. This turned out to be one of our best meals so far!!! And we only spent like $35 for 6 dishes of meat? Too bad I didn't get the name/location of the restaurant :/
